Real Time PCR Detection Kit Bovine viral diarrhea virus-Border disease virus

Brand: GPCRs
Bovine viral diarrhea virus Border disease virus detection test kit by using qPCR. It is considered one of the most significant infectious diseases in the livestock industry. The most common consequences of Bovine viral diarrhea virus infection are respiratory and reproductive problems. Transient infections include diarrhea, calf pneumonia, decreased milk production, reproductive disorders, increased occurrence of other diseases, and death. The virus is transmitted via direct contact, bodily secretions, and contaminated fomites.

Background:Bovine viral diarrhea virus Border disease virus detection by using qPCR.
Bovine viral diarrhea viruses are enveloped, single-stranded, positive-sense RNA viruses members of the Pestivirus genus and belonging to the family Flaviviridae. It is considered one of the most significant infectious diseases in the livestock industry worldwide due to its high prevalence, persistence, and clinical consequences. The most common consequences of Bovine viral diarrhea virus infection are respiratory and reproductive problems. In addition to the transient infection, when the virus infects a susceptible cow during a certain period of gestation can result in the production of a persistently infected fetus; capable of excreting large amounts of the virus throughout its life. Transient infections include diarrhea, calf pneumonia, decreased milk production, reproductive disorders, increased occurrence of other diseases, and death. Both types, transient and persistently infected animals, can spread infectious viruses and transmission occurs both horizontally and vertically. The virus is transmitted via direct contact, bodily secretions, and contaminated fomites. The assay may detect the three described BVDV genotypes but, due to the observed genetic variability of this species, emerging genotypes and subtypes may differ from the ones used for the present design. Border disease virus, also detected, can cause a significant problem in flocks of sheep, causing an abortion in affected animals or the birth of weak lambs.

qPCR kit for the detection of Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus (BVDV) in various samples of cattle (blood, lungs, etc.)

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Bovine leukemia virus

Bovine leukemia virus detection test kit by using qPCR. BLV infection often does not cause any clinical signs, however, about 30 % of the infected animals develop lymphoproliferation and about 5 % develop leukemia. Finally, 1 to 5 % of all infected cattle, develop malignant tumors known as lymphosarcomas.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Bovine ephemeral fever virus

Detection test kit of Bovine ephemeral fever virus by using qPCR. Bovine ephemeral fever (BEF), commonly known as three-day sickness is a disease of cattle and occasionally buffaloes, marked by short fever, shivering, lameness, and muscular stiffness. It causes serious economic losses through deaths, loss of condition, decreased milk production, lowered fertility of bulls, mismothering of calves, delays in marketing, and restrictions on the export of live cattle.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus (PEDV)

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus detection test kit by using qPCR. The porcine epidemic diarrhea virus infects the cells lining the small intestine of pigs causing porcine epidemic diarrhea, a condition of severe diarrhea and dehydration. Older hogs mostly get sick and lose weight after being infected, while newborn piglets usually die. PEDV has a substantial economic burden given that it is highly infectious, resulting in significant morbidity and mortality in piglets.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Avian infectious bronchitis virus

Avian infectious bronchitis virus (AIBV) detection test kit by using qPCR. Avian infectious bronchitis virus is a coronavirus (ssRNA) that infects chickens, causing the associated disease infectious bronchitis. It is a highly infectious avian pathogen that affects the respiratory tract, gut, kidney, and reproductive systems of chickens. AIBV affects the performance of both meat-producing and egg-producing birds and is responsible for substantial economic loss within the poultry industry.
