C. abortus is endemic among ruminants and is responsible for producing spontaneous abortion, stillbirth, or delivery of weak lambs. It has been also associated with abortion in horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, pigs, and humans. C. abortus infection generally remains inapparent until an animal aborts late in gestation or gives birth to a weak or dead fetus.

Detection test kit of 3 species of Chlamydophila spp. (C.felis, C. psittaci, and C. abortus) by using qPCR. Chlamydia felis is an intracellular Gram-negative bacterium endemic among house cats. Chlamydophila psittaci is a lethal intracellular bacterial species that may cause endemic avian chlamydiosis, epizootic outbreaks in mammals, and respiratory psittacosis in humans. C. psittaci is transmitted by inhalation, contact, or ingestion among birds and mammals. Endemic throughout the world, C. abortus is the most common cause of infectious abortion in small ruminants (sheep and goats). It also causes abortion in cattle and pigs and represents a significant zoonotic risk to pregnant women.

Swine fever causes fever, skin lesions, convulsions, and usually death. CSFV is closely related to the ruminant pestiviruses which cause Bovine viral diarrhea (BVDV) and Border disease (BDV).

Clostridium spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Clostridium genus contains around 100 species that include common free-living bacteria, as well as important pathogens. The main species responsible for diseases are: Clostridium botulinum causes botulism; Clostridium difficile causes diarrhoea; Clostridium perfringens causes gas gangrene; Clostridium tetani causes tetanus and Clostridium sordellii can cause a fatal infection in exceptionally rare cases after medical abortions.

Coxiella burnetii detection test kit by using qPCR. It is an obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen and is the causative agent of Q fever. C. burnetii is highly resistant to environmental stresses such as high temperature, osmotic pressure, and ultraviolet light. This organism may be found in cattle, sheep, goats, and other domestic mammals, including cats and dogs.

Cytauxzoon spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Cytauxzoon spp. is a tick-borne protozoan parasite. Some Cytauxzoon species infect wild and domestic felids causing a severe, and often fatal disease. Clinical signs are the result of severe intravascular hemolysis and include anemia, icterus, hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly.
