Dirofilaria immitis detection test kit by using qPCR. Dirofilaria immitis (also known as heartworm or dog heartworm) is a parasitic roundworm, a type of filarial worm, that causes dirofilariasis. It is spread from host to host through the bites of mosquitoes. The definitive host is the dog, but it can also infect cats, wolves, coyotes, jackals, foxes, ferrets, bears, seals, sea lions, and, under rare circumstances, humans.

These diseases are considered zoonotic as the main reservoir for the pathogen is in animals, usually mammals species. These agents are transmitted through the bite of an infected tick. Rodents, deer, roe deer, foxes, cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and dogs are reservoirs of these bacteria. Infection in humans is manifested as a nonspecific flu-like illness.

Equine arteritis virus detection test kit by using qPCR. It is the causative agent of equine viral arteritis, a contagious disease highly species-specific and exclusively limited to equids (horses, donkeys, mules, and zebra). Equine arteritis virus infection can cause fever, lethargy, nasal discharge, conjunctivitis, urticaria, and swelling of the limbs and under the belly.
